2004 Annual Report:
Message from Board President and CEO

As a new year begins at Children’s Hunger Alliance, we can’t help but reflect on how proud we are to be associated with such an exceptional organization, dedicated to improving the lives of children in the most basic of ways — eliminating childhood hunger.

Over the past year, we have accomplished much and you will read about that work in this report.

  • School Breakfast and Lunch expansion success
  • Increased access to nutritious meals for children in high quality childcare environments
  • Expansion of and participation in afterschool meal and educational programming
  • Increased funding and donations to support our fight to break the cycle of hunger

We are passionate about our mission: "To break to cycle of childhood hunger through education, leadership, advocacy and services." Our confidence and excitement about what lies ahead comes from our stakeholders, board, staff, funders, volunteers, policymakers, educators and partners. Your continued support and passion will translate our mission into reality.
