Adult Nutrition Education Program
Recognizing that adult household members shop, select and prepare food for children in the home environment, Children's Hunger Alliance works to offer nutrition classes to adults as well. These classes educate on healthy foods choices for parents and their families. Class series of 4- to 6-lessons are offered to churches, food banks, shelters, schools, community centers and other places where primarily food-stamp eligible adults congregate. Class topics include MyPyramid, food safety, food labels, making the most of your food dollar and healthy breakfast and snacking.
