Lunch Buddies

Attention high school students! Want to know how you can help end childhood hunger? Start a Lunch Buddies campaign at your school! Donating just a small amount of money can help put food in Ohio children’s empty tummies!

Children’s Hunger Alliance’s Lunch Buddies campaign is easy, fast and best of all – fun! Here’s how it works:

Children’s Hunger Alliance will supply you with information about childhood hunger in Ohio, donation pledge sheets and coupons from Chipotle.
Choose a day or a week to launch your campaign. (World Food Day is October 16th!) A Children’s Hunger Alliance representative is available to come in before the campaign to discuss hunger in Ohio and our fight to end it.
Donations can be mailed to Children’s Hunger Alliance, or a representative from the agency can come by to pick them up.

To get others excited about the campaign, start a competition between your school and another school, or encourage friends, family, neighbors and other community members to donate money in exchange for a coupon from Chipotle!

M.O.M. was so great in April!
And when M.O.M. is great, that means we're able to feed more hungry kids with nutrious meals. A great big shout-out of "Thanks!" to Pesto Creative Italian Bistro for being our featured Menu of the Month (M.O.M.). And another great big shout-out of "Many Thanks!" to everyone who stopped in at Pesto to savor the wonderful selection of pasta, pizza and salads and remembered to mention Children's Hunger Alliance when paying their bill. Everytime that happened, Pesto donated $1 to the Alliance to help feed hungry kids. It's that easy for any type of restaurant to partner with us to help break the cycle of childhood hunger.

Children’s Hunger Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and holds itself accountable for managing budgets, resources and programs to deliver aid and support to children. Today, 94% of all revenue goes to services.
