One of the reasons Children’s Hunger Alliance is Feeding hungry minds and bodies^® is so no child has to go without a meal. Putting food in these empty tummies is as easy as donating your lunch money for one day!

Children’s Hunger Alliance’s Lunch Money for a Day campaigns are educational, simple to manage, and an effective way to engage your fellow workers, church group, or civic organization in a community service project.

Children’s Hunger Alliance will supply you with lunch bags that contain a remittance envelope and a coupon to an area restaurant partner.
On a designated day — often in conjunction with a dress down day, holiday, or other special event — the lunch bags are distributed to your staff or group who are encouraged to donate the equivalent of their lunch money for that day. A Children’s Hunger Alliance representative is available to come in before the campaign to discuss hunger in Ohio and our fight to eradicate it.
Collect the lunch bags and return them to Children’s Hunger Alliance. For those persons that choose not to donate that day, the remittance envelopes can be mailed in or picked up at a later date.

M.O.M. was so great in April!
And when M.O.M. is great, that means we're able to feed more hungry kids with nutrious meals. A great big shout-out of "Thanks!" to Pesto Creative Italian Bistro for being our featured Menu of the Month (M.O.M.). And another great big shout-out of "Many Thanks!" to everyone who stopped in at Pesto to savor the wonderful selection of pasta, pizza and salads and remembered to mention Children's Hunger Alliance when paying their bill. Everytime that happened, Pesto donated $1 to the Alliance to help feed hungry kids. It's that easy for any type of restaurant to partner with us to help break the cycle of childhood hunger.

Children’s Hunger Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and holds itself accountable for managing budgets, resources and programs to deliver aid and support to children. Today, 94% of all revenue goes to services.
