Enjoy an evening tasting wines, mingling with great company, and bidding on fabulous packages while helping Children’s Hunger Alliance in the mission of Feeding hungry minds and bodies^®.

Last year, Taste to Remember provided nearly 400 guests with an elegant evening of food and wine, while helping to ensure that the hungry minds and bodies of Ohio’s children are well nourished. The event raised over $30,000.

In 2006, the American Culinary Federation - Columbus Chapter and Children’s Hunger Alliance are partnering once again for Taste to Remember, including the much anticipated live chef auction. This is sure to become one of the most exciting philanthropic events in Columbus. We anticipate we will generate a crowd of over 600 guests for the 2006 event, and hope to double funds raised last year.

The event features gourmet food presented by Columbus’ finest restaurants and chefs, wine samples, a silent auction, terrific entertainment and the most incredible live chef auction in Ohio. The Live Chef Auction portion of the event will feature 10 chef auction packages to include dinner prepared in the winning bidder’s home by one of the area’s top professional chefs. Entertainment will be provided by a local jazz ensemble.

Tables for the event begin at $750 with individual tickets being released for $50. Sponsorships and purchases can be made by contacting Sheila Edwards at 614-341-7700, ext. 237.

M.O.M. was so great in April!
And when M.O.M. is great, that means we're able to feed more hungry kids with nutrious meals. A great big shout-out of "Thanks!" to Pesto Creative Italian Bistro for being our featured Menu of the Month (M.O.M.). And another great big shout-out of "Many Thanks!" to everyone who stopped in at Pesto to savor the wonderful selection of pasta, pizza and salads and remembered to mention Children's Hunger Alliance when paying their bill. Everytime that happened, Pesto donated $1 to the Alliance to help feed hungry kids. It's that easy for any type of restaurant to partner with us to help break the cycle of childhood hunger.

Children’s Hunger Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and holds itself accountable for managing budgets, resources and programs to deliver aid and support to children. Today, 94% of all revenue goes to services.
