Child Development Associate Credentialing

Inherent in our Feeding hungry minds and bodies® philosophy is making quality child care available to all of Ohio's children. Part of ensuring parents of the quality of the child care provided in a Family Child-Care business is through certification and credentialing. One approved option is the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

The programs run by the Early Childhood Nutrition & Education team directly relate to improving the competency of each Family Child-Care provider to meet and exceed these standards. With each Family Child-Care provider we successfully support in certification and credentialing, more families have affordable child care and more children benefit from quality care.
