Multicultural Initiative

Children’s Hunger Alliance’s Multicultural Initiative (MCI) is a multifaceted outreach program focused on recruiting and training home-based childcare providers in newly-immigrated and minority communities. Through the use of bilingual Field Representatives, Children’s Hunger Alliance is able to assist these providers in crossing language and cultural barriers, helping them make a smoother transition into American society. The initiative also helps to ensure that the children in their homes receive quality childcare and are better prepared for success in the American school system.
